Beloved husband, father and grand-father Wilbert Donaldson, known as Bud to his friends and loved ones, purchased the some of the land in Sardis along with the love of his life, Ramona Donaldson back in the 1970s as a deer camp. 

It was his dream for them to retire to the land, but sadly he passed before this could be achieved. His loving wife, Ramona Donaldson now resides in the location they planned to build on all those years ago. 

His descendants have been able to achieve his dreams by all living on the land and working to make even bigger dreams for the next generation.

A good and smelly boy, Bocephus was an unofficial mascot of Donaldson Farms for 12 years until his passing in late December 2022.
